Statistics problem, probability?

Pizza, Pizza, and More Pizza.

The local pizza shoppe sells three types of pizza; pan, hand tossed, and thin pizzas. Pan Pizzas make up 38% of the business, Hand tossed make up 34% and Thin Crust makes up 28%.
Pan Pizzas toppings are 30% sausage, 38% pepperoni, and 32% ground beef.
Hand tossed toppings are 25% sausage, 45% pepperoni, and 30% ground beef.
Thin Crust toppings are 40% sausage, 30% pepperoni, and 30% ground beef.

What function should I use in Excel? or Should I just calculate by times probabilities? for example, what’s the percent of total for pan sausage? how do you calculate in excel, thanks.

Yes you just multiply the probabilities.
I set up two tables, one with the inputs:

Inputtotal sausagepep beef
Pan 0.380.3000.3800.320
Hand 0.340.2500.4500.300
Thin 0.280.4000.3000.300

then I put in a formula that multiplies $b2 by b3 and copy it to a new table where I store the answers:

Output
sausagepep beef Totals
0.1140.1440.1220.380
0.0850.1530.1020.340
0.1120.0840.0840.280
Totals
0.3110.3810.3081.000

so percentage of pan sausage is 0.114
