what do you learn in statistics and probability?

im trying to find which math class i like more. i like writing everything down rather then use a calculator. i rarely like using my calculator. and i really like word problems and formulas. should i take pre calculus or statistics and probability and which one looks better for universities

Statistics and probability is easy and actually fun. You can understand what is going on and you can apply it to everyday life. There are lots of word problems and formulas. Strange as it may seem you would be better prepared to take calculus in college if you don’t take it earlier. (Clean slate sort of reasoning)
