Probably Going To Fail My Dual Credit Statistics Course – What Do I Do?
I take statistics through a website my school endorses, and we go to the college sometimes, though usually online, to take this class. I am a junior in high school, but it still bothers me.
I just studied for my exam #2, of 3, and epically bombed it, with a 30. It dropped my average 16 points, and I now have a 55.
It’s the lowest test grade I’ve made all semester, the other one a 70. Our homework and quizzes don’t count for anything more than practice.
Not being in college officially, what do I do? What is put on my transcript? Once I graduate high school, will I still be able to go to college?
Also… if I take the AP test next year and pass it, will it over ride that failing grade, if I fail, or be noted on there? Would that help my chances of getting into college?
If you fail, your college transcript will have a failing grade on it. The credits will not transfer to your high school or any other schools, and you’ll have to tell future schools about it.
